I've been so blessed all my life to have good friends but especially these good friends. These are my 4 best friends from High School. They've all moved away but we had the rare occurrence last week of all being in town and were able to get together for a little swimming outing. It was so fun to see everyone and their families! I'm so glad that we're still keeping in touch and getting together when we can. I really cherish our friendships and hope that we will keep trying to keep them going.
My little sister is in High School right now and it's funny to watch her with her friends. I find myself thinking, we were never that immature right? We acted older than that when we were in High School right? I'm sure we weren't, I certainly can remember doing some pretty stupid and silly (yet fun) things with my friends in High School. It's just funny because I don't really feel like we're that much older but somehow I think we have grown up and matured at least a little. Our conversations used to be about boys, what we were going to do that weekend, and staying caught up on the latest hook-ups and break-ups. Now we talk about potty training, cute and not so cute things our kids do, recipes we need to try, and future plans for school and careers.
It definitely makes me feel old to look at this picture, and see how we're all mothers now. I remember when 25 used to seem so old! Here's to being Forever Young!
Ok, how come all the babies are looking at the camera and it's Alonna and I who weren't quite ready? ;) Heather I'm sorry that we didn't think to take a picture before you guys had to leave. This picture is definitely incomplete without you and your cute family :(

I loved this post Rach. That was so much fun to get together. I need to post some of those pictures on my blog as well, but I'll have to wait until my family gets back from vacation since the pictures are on my parent's camara!
