It's been a while since I've been able to commit a whole post to Jesse with all my "catching up." Which is quite sad because he really is a lot of fun.... as you'll see from watching these little clips.
This first one cracks me up every time I watch it! Let me explain what you're watching. Jesse's "favorite song" is Supermassive Black Hole by Muse. Ok, I know that shouldn't be a 22 month old's favorite song. I have this as the first song on my cell phone's mp3 player that I let him play with every once in a while. When we're driving in the car the songs on the radio are never good enough for him. He always wants to listen to this song and a couple other's he's familiar with that I have on my phone. He especially likes the beginning of the song and always reacts with a "YA!" and a little bit of dancing when I start it up. In this video clip (which was taken with my cell phone so sorry about the low quality picture) he's listening to this song on my little sister's ipod and she keeps starting it over and over for him. As you can see he get's very excited about it!

This second clip is Jesse "playing" rock band with his uncles. Ok, he really wasn't playing but he didn't know that and was working really hard on getting that drum part right.
I think one word that describes Jesse is "intense." Anything he does he does with all his conentration and energy. This is him playing a simple game of catch with Grandma Kocherhans but as you can see he got a little carried away. It might have been past his bedtime too.
