We celebrated Jesse's Birthday with my family a week after his birthday since we'd been in Maryland that week. It had also been my sister's birthday earlier that week so we had a double Birthday celebration with double the cake. Happy 18th Chels!
Jesse is absolutely obsessed with the movie "CARS" so it was only fitting that I made him a CARS cake. I don't have any cake decorating tools so I resorted to using plastic sandwhich bags, filled with icing, with the corners snipped off. It turned out pretty white-trash....you know....to match the whole CARS/Nascar theme. But Jesse liked it and it was yummy and that's what's important.
Jesse got this fun CARS book with the buttons that make sound as well as some toy cars from the movie, and a really cute Jacket from his Grandma and Grandpa Koch. He's a pretty spoiled 2 year old because he also got a set of fun puzzles from his Grandma and Grandpa Baker. Dave and I got him a Fisher-Price Car garage. I got him a couple other things but decided that he'd gotten enough stuff for his Birthday. Those couple things just might end up in his Easter Basket.
