4 Wonderful Years!

Ok, so this post is a little late. We had some plans to celebrate our anniversary this year with a little get away to Vegas, but those plans were postponed by the swine flu. We were considering still going and I was hoping to post some pics of our trip but it looks like its not going to happen this year so instead, here's a look back at our 4 increadible years.

Our Wedding Day
June 10th, 2005
What a wonderful day! I'll never forget how I felt during our ceremony in the Salt Lake Temple. Everything that I was feeling was telling me that marrying Dave was a good thing and that Heavenly Father approved of our marriage and was happy for us.

The day was perfect! Our reception was beautiful and so much fun! I remember Dave and I talking the next day and wishing that we could live our wedding day over again because of how wonderful it was.

Year 1
Our first couple apartments
Going to BYU together
Working at STAR satellite together
Rachel student teaching and graduating
Singing in BYU Concert Choir together
Christmas in Hawaii
Watching and playing lots of sports
Eating at Costa Azul (a lot)
Watching a movie on the roof and falling asleep, sneaking back in early in the morning so the neighbors's wouldn't see us.

Year 2
Dave in school and working
Rachel teaching at Canyon View Jr.
Make lots of good friends in our BYU married ward
Become addicted to "24"
Baby on the way
Baby here! 1st time parents!
We change many, many diapers
Move to 3rd Apt (Hooray for 2 bedrooms)!
Dave gets job with WingateWeb


Year 3
Dave starts working full time for WingateWeb
Rachel starts teaching voice and piano lessons
Our first camping trip with a baby to Lake Tahoe
Jesse goes from 3 mos to 15 mos - we learn as we go and can't get enough of him!
Plant our first garden and get a huge harvest!
Lot's of game nights at our place with friends w/o kids
Dave gets many sports-acquired injuries. 1 visit to an orthopedic and 2 to the ER
Our first get away (for our 3rd anniversary) without Jesse to Southern Utah


Year 4
Dave still doing well with Wingateweb
Rachel teaching more students than she can handle
We become home owners when we buy our Condo!
Cruise with friends to Mexico and Disneyland (w/o Jesse)
Become addicted to "Lost" and Bajio
Play and watch lots of Sports
Baby #2 on the way and almost here
Jesse turns 2. We love him more and more and still can't get enough of him.

It's been a great 4 years! It really has flown by! We've learned a lot and have had a lot of fun together. I love being married to Dave. He's a great husband and Dad and definitely my best friend. I can't imagine life without him.
