Easter 2010

Jesse and Benson had a visit from the Easter Bunny on Easter Saturday. Jesse woke up to find an easter egg with a note from the Easter Bunny in it. The note had a clue that took him to another hidden egg with another clue and so on and so forth until he found his basket. He had so much fun figuring out the clues and finding the eggs. He was also very excited to find a mini basketball he could play outside with in his Easter basket.

Our community did an Easter egg hunt between conference sessions. The adults hid the eggs outside at the park while the kids waited in the clubhouse. Then we turned the little hooligans loose to go find them. The kids had blast and got some pretty awesome treats and prizes. Thanks to everyone who helped put that together. It was definitely a huge success!

(Even at almost 9 months Bence has to constantly wear a bib. He's still a little spit-up fountain).

The next day Grandma Koch played the Easter bunny over at her house and sent Jesse on another hunt with clues and eggs to find their Easter gift for the boys. These very cute Jazz stuffed animals. I'll have to remember to do little hunts like this throughout the year based on how much fun Jesse had with them. Why just for Easter right?

Thanks Grandma Koch!!

Also, a special thanks to Jesse's Nursery leaders who taught him the story of Easter and sent him home with a little packet of paper figurines that told the story. Jesse got really good at telling the story himself. It's incredible how much these little ones can understand.
