El Guapo Jesse
Jesse was looking pretty handsome and grown up in his Church clothes the other week so I grabbed my camera to get some pics of his "handsomeness." You can definitely see in a couple of these how goofy he is. One of them turned out pretty GQ.
Jesse's latest:
- He loves to watch Special Agent Oso
- He and Benson have started playing together. Halleluja!! Jesse likes to have Bence chase him around the couches. They also will drive their cars around.
- He's very often found saying "I can do it! I'm a big boy!" ... and he is.
- He loves cold cereal and asks to eat it all day long!
- He likes to make a "perimeter" out of toys and books and calls it a fort.
- He's learned how to play "Mary had a Little Lamb" and "Hot Cross Buns" (we call it Choo Choo Train) on the piano and plays them multiple times a day.
- He loves to play with friends and cousins. Usually he's the one instigating a laughing game or a run around and be crazy game.
- He's goofy. He likes to imitate things that his Kocherhans Uncles and Dad say because I guess to him they're funny or something. That reminds me that I should probably get some video of him saying those things. One of my favorites is when he get's excited and shouts "Hey yo!"
- He's got asthma. After a pretty tough year and a half of being sick every month (pnemonia and tonsilitis 3 of those times) we've finally got him diagnosed as having asthma. He hasn't been sick since starting his nebulizer treatments. We're still looking to get his massively huge tonsils out though. Couldn't hurt....well...I mean to not have them in the long run.
- He goes to time out a lot for whining, yelling, hurting his brother in one way or another, and disobeying. When he's in time out I usually have to start the time over several times before he stops yelling, get's under control, and stays put. He's EXTREMELY stubborn and independent. If I tell him to stop doing something he'll often counter me with "Don't tell me that Mom!" He doesn't want anyone telling him what he is and is not allowed to do because in his mind, he's fully capable of figuring that out himself. I'm just telling it like it is so that I can remember what he was like at 3.
- He must be Bi-polar though because he can turn around and be the sweetest little guy! He'll ask to help, he'll play wonderfully well with Benson, He'll use please and thank you, he'll be very grateful when I help him (or feed him), He'll want to snuggle and/or give me hugs and kisses. It's funny sometimes he'll ask me, "Mom are you happy?" Meaning....is my behavior making you happy? I know that deep down he wants to do what's right.
- He loves to build train tracks.
- From what I hear I guess he's kind of the "cool" kid in nursery.
- He still loves to shoot baskets. He's really looking forward to being able to shoot with a big ball on the big baskets. I've told him only big people can shoot on the big baskets and every once in a while, with basketball on his mind, he'll ask me if he's big yet? He doesn't usually agree with my answer.
- He still loves to sing! I love it when we're driving in the car and he sings along to whatever song is on at the top of his lungs..... he didn't learn that from his Mom. ;)
- There are so many more things I could say about my Jesse but I need to wrap it up. He might be the source of a lot of my worry and grief but I love him! He definitely lights up my life!

he sure is super cute that jesse--- i love his facial expressions! :)
What a cute little poser. Love the pictures. Oh the joys of having a boy (or boys in your case). So much fun.
Wow, our boys could be twins as far as the disobeying and yelling NO at their moms while they are in time out goes. Jackson is at a really hard phase right now. Good thing they are so cute!
What a cute little man! I hear ya with the yelling "no" - my little girl says it all the time and sometimes it's all I can do to not yell back at her. You gotta love kids!!
