Mesquite Trip

After such a long winter and cold spring we were desperate to get away for some sunshine and warmth!! So we headed to Mesquite about the middle of May for a few days to try to soak up some sun. We were lucky enough to be joined by our friends the Ellis's.

The boys actually did really, really well with the long drive down and back. Thank goodness for portable DVD players and the fact that my boys are good sleepers. Blessings counted!

We stopped in Beaver on the way down (where Grandpa Baker grew up) and Jesse happened to have his Beaver, UT shirt on so I had to get a picture. This is Jesse beholding the wonder that is Beaver, Utah. Home of the Beaver Beavers. K, I better move on before I get in trouble with Grandpa Baker.

As you can see our trip mostly consisted of kickin' it at the pool. But we did have some pretty fun and intense game playing at night, with the Ellis's after the kids were in bed.



Shaeli is about a month away from delivering their first baby in this pictures and she has since delivered her baby boy. Congrats guys!! Yay for becoming parents!!

They had this great waterslide at the pool which Jesse absolutely loved!! He just kept going down over and over and over again.

Bence kickn' back and working on his tan with Austin.

The towel doesn't really do much with the floaties still on.

This was Benson's first time swimming. He loved to kick and splash in the water.
