It's been fun to watch Benson's little personality develop as he's gotten older. He's a very happy little guy as long as he's being social. He will give just about anyone the biggest smile when smiled at. He laughs his little funny laugh when played with and loves to be held and snuggled. But when there's no one paying attention to him he almost immediately whines. Like I said, he has this need to be social. He especially loves it when Jesse plays with him. He doesn't laugh as hard for anyone else than he does for Jesse. I'm kind of jealous.
He's starting to get his top 2 teeth which means lots of drool and something (usually his fist) constantly in his mouth. He loves to stand up, with someone helping him obviously, but when we hold his hands to help him stand up he attacks our hands and starts gnawing on our knuckles. Pretty ferocious.
I don't know why but Bens loves to have talks with his Daddy. He just focuses in on his Dad's voice and coo's and chirps back to him. Once again I'm kind of jealous.

This is Bens with his little "soffie rhino" When he's tired he loves to snuggle this to his face. It seems to do the trick because he hardly fusses when I put him down. I know...blessing counted!
About a month ago Benson figured out how to roll onto his tummy. Weird that it's not the other way around since he doesn't really like his tummy. I'll put him on the floor, he'll almost immediately roll onto his tummy, and proceed to fuss until someone comes and turns him back over. Then the process starts all over again. I was worried that he figured this out so early but a month later he hasn't learned any new tricks. Whew! I'm definitely not in a rush for him to be mobile.
Bens at tubby time. We joke that it looks like he's doing the Haka (sp?).
