Jesse getting Bens Going.
It's fun being surrounded by such cute men. Jesse continues to be, I think, the best big brother Benson could possibly ask for. He's so kind and nurturing to Benson and loves to play with him and get him laughing! He can be pretty rough with Bens when they're playing and it absolutely drives me crazy but for some reason Benson loves it and usually just giggles. I think Jesse sees himself as one of Benson's parents the way he's so nurturing towards him.
Last night Jesse was playing with Benson and Bens got ahold of a big section of Jesse's hair with his little baby death grip and pulled on it until Jesse was in tears. I got Jesse free and he was very upset. I tried to explain through his tears that Benson didn't mean to hurt him. Jesse broke away from me and headed back towards Bens on the floor. Benson had never hurt Jesse before and I thought Jesse was headed back over for some revenge and was about to go protect Benson. I was absolutely floored and almost brought to tears myself when still sobbing from getting hurt Jesse went over to his little brother, tried to muster up a smile and said, "It's Ok Bens. It's Ok. It doesn't hurt." My little sweet Jesse with his big heart taught me about Christ-like love and what our Savior meant by commanding us to "become as a little child." Jesse's actions brought a wonderful Spirit into our home last night. I feel so privileged and actually pretty intimidated to be the mother of such wonderful boys.

K, that made me tear up too. Kids are such good examples, aren't they? Jesse is such a sweetie.
